REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: Consultancy to Undertake Case Studies to Assess the Status of Innovation Platforms in Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda

The Association for Strengthening Agricultural Research in Eastern and Central Africa (ASARECA), Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) and the East African Farmers’ Federation (EAFF) and jointly implementing a project on Strengthening the Knowledge and Innovation Ecosystem for Inclusive Rural Transformation and Livelihoods in Eastern Africa (AIRTEA). The project is supported by the EU-ACP Innovation Fund through the Office of the Organization of African Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS). The project is coordinated by FARA, while the implementation includes ASARECA and EAFF. The overall objective of this consultancy is to undertake case studies to assess and document the current status of the innovation platform processes at national and sub-national levels in the three intervention countries. ASARECA now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested individual consultants are requested to submit Expression of Interest for this consultancy containing at least the following: (i) Description of your understanding of the tasks including comments on the ToR; (ii) Elaborate description of the methodology to be followed to deliver the required outputs of this assignment; (iii) Detailed description of your experience (with evidence where required) in undertaking similar assignments; (iv) Work plan and time frame for implementation; and (v) Relevant CVs.
